”Such great food and value is hard to find” … more reviews
Kentish Town’s buzzing, modern bistro.
Unquestionably the most attractive restaurant in the area which pays homage to it’s glorious post code – NW5- A wall sized photomontage of local people and landmarks.Situated at the top of Kentish Town Road a stone’s throw from the tube, Kentish Canteen epitomises all that is current about modern London dining – whether you fancy brunch, very good coffee, small sharing dishes or a stylish three course dinner by candlelight.
Quality food at value prices
Kentish Canteen is the creation of Owen Crinnigan and Wendy Sinclair, who run PJ’s Bar and Grill in Covent Garden, which they founded back in 1982.“We wanted to create a modern, local eatery with top produce, simply cooked and presented” says Wendy. “We believe Kentish Town is the next North London hot spot, with it’s incredibly diverse community and flourishing galleries, bars and music venues. But what we like most is it’s localness and want to become known as the place to pop into for a few tasteful small plates and a glass of wine or a candlelit dinner.
We are committed to bringing stylish, quality food at value prices to the NW5 area.”
